My name is Donna Leary. I am sorry, I speak only "mama-Russian." I can say things like "Te ne nada dyelats eta bez mnye." and "Te hochesh yablakney sok?" But that is not much help in writing to adults. Four years ago, my husband and I adopted two boys from Olenegorsk, from the Detsky Dom Ogonoyok. I am eager to make contact with someone from Olenegorsk.

I am very impressed by the work that you do at the special school. Here in America my family particpates in charities to send shoes to Russian orphans (http://www.shoesfororphansouls.org). We want to give back for the wonderful gift of two incredible boys who are now part of our family. Alexei was 10 years old when we adopted him. He is now 14. Sergei was 7; he is now 11. They are happy, healthy, and loving children and we are blessed to have them.

Я из Москвы и являюсь членом Leo клуба. Наш клуб ещё очень молодой и особо похвастаться нечем. На днях мы проводим нашу первую мастшабную акцию - помощь детскому дому, что включает в себя помощь одеждой и поход в зоопарк. Надеюсь, всё пройдёт гладко.

Saw some of your photos and find it difficult to visualise living in a cold climate. We have sunshine all through the year/ My next door neighbour is half Russian and his father who is full Russian migrated to Australia 30 years back.
